Even before we first opened our doors, McDonald’s franchisees, suppliers, employees and customers helped the CNY Ronald McDonald House provide stability and vital resources to families with seriously ill children that travel to Syracuse for specialized medical care – and that invaluable support has continued to this day. 

We receive tremendous support from the local McDonald’s Operators Association of Central New York and Northern Pennsylvania and their restaurant employees. The McDonald’s restaurants in our area conduct in-store fundraising promotions, wish list collections and often plan mini fundraisers. Additionally, customers have the opportunity to support the CNY Ronald McDonald House by rounding-up their total the next dollar and donating spare change at counter-top and drive-thru donation boxes. We are also fortunate to have active involvement from McDonald’s owner/operators who volunteer to either serve on our board of directors or various annual fundraising committees.

The generosity of time, as well as funds and in-kind services, provided by the entire McDonald’s community, has helped us expand our programs and services, and positively impact thousands of children and their families since 1982.

While McDonald’s is our largest corporate partner, as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, we rely on the support of our entire community to help achieve our goals. We greatly value donations from both the community and other corporate partners.
