“Give from Home” to Help Support Our House
We are so grateful for the outpouring of community support as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have temporarily repurposed the CNY Ronald McDonald House to provide emergency sleep accommodations to front-line health care professionals from Upstate University Hospital. For the past seven weeks while our House has been closed to guest families, our organization has been able to continue to care for the families who were with us at the start of the pandemic by providing hotel accommodations and daily food vouchers. But the shift in our program care model has caused us to incur $20,000 of unanticipated direct program expenses.
That’s why we have created a two-week “Give From Home” virtual fundraising campaign. Between now and Thursday, May 21, we encourage all of our friends to consider giving from home to support our House and help us meet our $20,000 fundraising goal. All levels of financial support will help.

Participate in Celeste’s Art Fundraiser: Bid in an online auction for your chance to win paintings created by local 12-year-old Celeste. The auction will close May 21 and 100% of the proceeds will benefit RMHC of CNY. Celeste’s mom, sister and grandmother are all essential health care workers locally, which inspired her to get involved. Winners will be able to claim their paintings from the CNY Ronald McDonald House once it reopens.
