05 Feb RMHC of CNY Launches New Hospitality Cart Program at Crouse Hospital To Enhance Comfort of Families

Ronald McDonald House Charities^® of Central New York (RMHC^® of CNY) announced the launch of its Hospitality Cart program at Crouse Hospital and unveiled the RMHC of CNY Hospitality Cart at a ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 4. This is the first Hospitality Cart placed at any Syracuse-area hospital.

Aimed at enhancing the comfort of families in the hospital by providing them with complimentary care items, the Hospitality Cart will travel through Crouse Hospital and serve families receiving treatment in select departments. It will be available to all patients and their families in the Walter R.G. Baker Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Kienzle Family Maternity Center and the Pediatric Recovery Care Center.

With its new Hospitality Cart program, RMHC of CNY is expanding its services beyond the CNY Ronald McDonald House to impact families while they are at the hospital. The Hospitality Cart will be stocked with assorted grab-and-go snacks and refreshments, children’s activities, and personal care items and toiletries – all free of charge to families – to help provide comfort and care to children, parents and caregivers at the hospital bedside.
