We give children what they need most – their families.
We provide essential services, vital resources and a family-centered space at no cost to guest families. By doing so, we can help reduce stress and alleviate some financial burdens for families along their child’s health care journey.

Our Core Programs
CNY Ronald McDonald House
When parents learn that a child is seriously ill, everything changes. Daily routines are interrupted by travel to distant cities for medical care. Dinners come from hospital cafeterias or vending machines. The comforts of home are traded for sleeping in chairs near the bedside of a sick child unless there is a Ronald McDonald House nearby.
The CNY Ronald McDonald House is open 24 hours a day, year-round, for families who travel to Syracuse from across the region to receive all types of medical care.
Hospitality Cart
Stocked with assorted grab-and-go snacks and refreshments, children’s activities, and personal care items and toiletries, our Hospitality Cart travels through select hospital departments and affiliated clinics.
Aimed at enhancing the comfort of families in the hospital, our Hospitality Cart helps provide compassion, comfort and care to children, parents and caregivers at the hospital bedside.
Each local Ronald McDonald House Charities chapter is governed by its own separate board of directors, which sets rules and policies for its individual House and programs.
